I'm very happy to announce that we have just released a new version of Videre. It now supports NVIDIA Jetson Orin systems.
Once the driver and the Device Tree files (overlays) are correctly configured, the recognized cameras show up in Videre and can be used right away. CSI-2 cameras make use of the Argus ISP which gets a dedicated side panel section for quick and easy adjustments. UVC cameras use the standard V4L2 route and will also work out of the box.
There's also a new analysis overlay section to easily highlight over or underexposed sections of images (false-color clipping). It works live and the thresholds can be adjusted freely. A second very handy overlay is focus peaking, it highlights the focused edges in an image with freely adjustable thresholds. Very easy and quick to adjust the focus!
For Pro and Subscription users we have added WebRTC streaming for low-latency streaming. It is supported on all the supported platforms (Jetson Orin, RPi5, x86) and offers a secure way to transmit streaming data with low latency. NVENC support for Jetson Orin is still experimental. If it fails, software encoding will be used.
More details can be found in the Changelog.
Now go and test 😃
